I have been receiving some of Lyn Bishop’s Chocolate and I am addicted! The story of her Quetzal Cacao is magical and I cannot wait to get my next box as part of a small Chocolate Club.
Here is her story of the next step she wants to take.
Dear Tom,
Buying Quetzal Cacao hand-crafted chocolate supports the local economy, which helps build stronger communities by providing jobs and training while maintaining the unique heritage that Panama is known for.
My personal vision for the future is to create an employee-owned farm that will help the families in my small community for years to come. I’m committed to fostering a sustainable ecosystem now and in the future.
Buying Quetzal’s chocolate gives you the assurance that the chocolate you’re consuming has been lovingly and ethically sourced. Producing chocolate literally from the tree to the bar is one way of providing that transparency and, more importantly, enabling our team to have ultimate control over the quality and flavour of the cacao and the chocolate confections we produce.
Each step in the journey from cacao tree to chocolate bar requires our mindful attention to craft an exquisite confection for your ultimate enjoyment.
Is buying local and sustainable chocolate important to you?
Quetzal’s Chocolate Club is a monthly subscription box of delectable, two-ingredient, limited edition, artisanal chocolate delivered with love from the jungle to you to savor and enjoy.
