The Minister of Commerce and Industries in charge, Eduardo Arango, received representatives of the American companies Zoetic Refrigerants and Culture Organic, interested in developing business projects that promote the sustainable economic development of the country. Both companies expressed their commitment to investing in industries that promote innovation and respect for the environment.

Zoetic Refrigerants, specialized in sustainable solutions in the refrigeration sector, presented its intention to form an alliance with Grupo Friolín S.A., one of the main players in the Panamanian industry.

This collaboration aims to establish a plant in Panama for the production of refrigerant with its patented technology, which will allow the reduction of energy costs, depending on the type of cooling system.

This project aligns with Panama’s vision of being a regional hub in technological innovation, while contributing to energy efficiency and sustainability.

On the other hand, Culture Organic, a company committed to organic production, presented to Minister Arango, an industrial project that aims to manufacture resins for plastic products derived from sugarcane bagasse.

This initiative is not only committed to the circular economy, but also seeks to replace conventional raw materials with renewable resources, contributing to the reduction of agricultural waste and plastics in the environment. The use of bagasse as a raw material for the production of resins represents an important innovation in terms of sustainability.

Minister Arango expressed his satisfaction with the interest of both companies in investing in Panama, highlighting the focus of both projects on cutting-edge technologies that favor sustainable industrial development.

“It is a pride to see how international companies are trusting in the potential of Panama, a country that stands out for its economic stability, its logistical infrastructure and its commitment to innovation and respect for the environment,” he said.

Arango invited the representatives of Zoetic Refrigerants and Culture Organic to take advantage of the incentives and programs established by the Panamanian government, which seek to encourage investment in industries that generate employment and promote economic growth.
