Marriott Debuts JW Marriott Panama

JW Marriott has opened its latest location in a 932-foot building in Panama that’s Central America’s tallest structure.

The JW Marriott Panama is located in the heart of Panama City’s Punta Pacifica neighborhood, within minutes of commercial, banking and entertainment areas.

The new property includes 369 guestrooms and 41 suites, each equipped with terraces and private balconies providing views of the Gulf of Panama and city skyline.

“Panama City is a vibrant and captivating destination that has been continually rising to the forefront of travel,” Mitzi Gaskins, vice president & global brand manager, JW Marriott, said in a statement. “This latest addition to our JW Marriott portfolio aligns perfectly with the brand’s focus on culture and iconic luxury experiences, which is why it was crucial we expand to a vivid destination deeply rooted in tradition.”

The hotel’s dining options include Barcelona, which specializes in international fusion cuisine. Tejas restaurant meanwhile features Caribbean cuisine infused with innovative culinary techniques.

There’s also an oceanfront restaurant, Azul, which features a healthy menu of light appetizers rooted in local traditional flavors. In addition, on the new hotel’s main level guests will find Bar Cava 15.
