Maritime Industry Meeting in Panama

From September 27th to 29th, companies from the maritime sector will be meeting in Panama to discuss issues related to technology, rules and regulations in the industry.

From a statement issued by the Maritime Chamber of Panama:

First Annual Maritime Conference of Panama entitled “The Next 100 Years” set within the framework of Panama’s 100-year ship registry. At the Sheraton Hotel in Panama City.

The conference will integrate for the first time the business axes that have the greatest impact on the maritime industry in our country, evaluating in each one of them latest technologies, rules and regulations, security, human resources, education, resulting in an evaluation (benchmarking) between what we currently have as a country in this important sector of our national economy and where we are headed.

The conference will begin with the public sector with the presentation by her Excellency Isabel Saint Malo, Vice President and Chancellor of the Republic of Panama, on the benefits to the maritime & logistic sector of the new relations with China, followed by a presentation of the National Logistics Strategy 2030 by the Coordinator of the Logistic Cabinet, Ana Margarita Reyes.
