So, I am often asked, is there any social life in Boquete. Just ask my social director I say!
Besides numerous fund raisers for charity, volunteer work at the local theater and casual nights out dining with friends, one of many events held in Boquete are the “Ladies Who Do Lunch”, a monthly gathering of a group of ladies who are very close friends. This month my wife Susie hosted the party at our house and the theme was Mardi Gras complete with a chef cooking fabulous New Orleans cuisine.
While I was not allowed to the party (women only), I snuck in a couple of times to taste the food and get some pictures in kitchen and of the ladies.
Eric and his son had some great dishes and a wonderful selection of appetizers.
So the Ladies all seemed to have had a great time and I am happy that we were able to host the party in our new home. More parties to come with holidays and I cannot wait!!
