Increasingly Less Investment in Construction

News from Panama / Monday, December 17th, 2018

Because of the behavior of residential construction, $750 million was invested in projects in the first nine months of the year in the Panama district, 49% less than the same period in 2017.

One of the causes of the considerable drop in activity in the country is that this year the Panamanian construction sector had to face a workers’ strike, which generated millions of losses and lasted about a month.
