Hyatt is opening the new Hotel La Compania del Valle in El Valle de Anton, Panama, near its sister property, Hotel La Compania in Casco Antiguo. The hotel will join The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, offering guests a blend of art, wellness and eco-adventure experiences.
Located in a volcanic crater at an elevation of 2,000 feet, travelers visiting El Valle de Anton in Panama will find a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, e-biking and horseback riding. Guests will also have access to trails like La India Dormida, Cerro Gaital and Pozo Azul, where they might encounter native wildlife such as sloths and Panamanian golden frogs.
Hyatt’s Footprint in Panama
Accommodations include 70 guestrooms and suites with balconies or terraces offering views of the mountains or garden courtyards. The property will feature three dining venues: FUEGO, focused on fire-inspired cuisine; TERRA, emphasizing earth-sourced ingredients; and TIEMPO, celebrating the art of travel. Guests can also enjoy the Elysium Spa, an 18,000-square-foot facility offering Roman baths, chocolate and wine therapy, and a saltwater pool.

Fidel Reyes, Managing Director of La Compania Hotels & Resorts, noted that the property will be the first internationally branded hotel in El Valle de Anton, highlighting its role in Panamá’s growing ecotourism sector. Hyatt’s upcoming retreat presents an opportunity to introduce clients to an immersive Panamanian experience that combines cultural, natural and wellness elements in a luxurious setting.
