The Cuban tourism offer was favorably welcomed at the 5th Expoturismo 2014 that opens  to the public in the Atlapa Conference Center, after a first day dedicated to operators only.

In this first business stage, the Cuban stand was often visited by buyers, Pablo Vazquez Enriquez, director of the Caribbean nation’s offices for South and Central America, told Prensa Latina.

Besides its traditional offers, the package presented by Cuba has the additional attraction of a new route Panama-Santa Clara, being the destination a central city of Cuba, with the Panamanian Copa Airlines, in order to meet the demands of vacationers from Latin American countries.

Vazquez said the new route would open on December 9, but he took the opportunity provided by this fair, in which the Cuban product and the advertising campaign “Authentic Cuba” have always been present, to give tour operators in Latin America and elsewhere extensive information.

With 10 exhibitor companies and over 180 wholesale and retail operators from Latin America, Europe, Asia and the Caribbean, the fifth edition of Expo Turismo Internacional 2014 will close its doors Sunday morning.
