In the first nine months of 2016 the main importer of furniture in Central America was Panama with $90 million, followed by Costa Rica with $69 million, Guatemala with $42 million, Honduras with $32 million, Nicaragua with $31 million and El Salvador with $25 million millions.
Monthly imports of the regionĀ
Between January 2012 and September 2016, the month that registered the highest monthly import value was September 2016, when the region as a whole bought $42.63 million worth of furniture, while the month with the lowest data was February 2013, with $23.53 million.
Behavior of importsĀ
Imports in the first nine months of each year, compared to the same period in the previous year, increased in 2014 and 2015, and decreased in 2013 and 2016.
