Panama is ready to become the hub of international events, with the launch of a promotion that offers free convention centers, an initiative promoted by the Panama Tourism Authority (ATP), and the Tourism Promotion Fund (PROMTUR) Panama.

This proposal, aimed at professionals and meeting tourism planners at national and international level, will attract high-impact international meetings, taking advantage of the country’s competitive advantages, such as its world-class infrastructure, exclusive incentives and air HUB.

The Minister of Tourism of Panama, Gloria De León, indicated that with this new initiative, not only the doors of convention centers are opened, but also a comprehensive experience that includes gastronomy, culture and a country rich in history is offered.

“This will bring fresh dollars to our economy and create thousands of direct and indirect jobs, consolidating the tourism sector as one of the most important in the country,” said De León.

Both the Panama Convention Center and the ATLAPA Convention Center belong to the network of world-class venues in Panama that are part of this initiative, and the benefits offered are based on the number of hotel nights generated by each event.
