moringa

This looks like a good cause but I cannot personally vouch for it as I have not investigated the people behind it but I am sure that Indiegogo has.

“We are fighting children malnutrition in the jungle of Panama with Moringa Products from Sunara Farms.”

My name is Jason Cook.

I grew up as a missionary’s child deep in the rainforest of the Panama Darien Gap. My family has been helping the Indian tribe in the area since 1984. My brother and I have started a 50 acre Moringa Plantation that will help us fight malnutrition among the people in the rainforest. Moringa also known as (The miracle tree) is known in many other countries and have been used in Africa and India to fight hunger and malnutrition. We want to do the same here in Panama and through out the Latin American Market by producing an array of Moringa products from soap to tea.

We need a processing center in order to be able to process all the different types of Moringa Products. We also need all the processing equipment. If you support our effort you will be helping the local Indians not only live a healthier lifestyle but also improve their income by working at our farm and learning a new trade. This will allow them to maintain their tribal lifestyle instead of looking for work off the reservations.

The impact Sunara Farms will have is outstanding when considering everything the tree has to offer. In Panama we have been hit hard by deforestation through large logging companies clearing out jungle to get to the trees the need. We want to replant those areas with the Moringa tree so we can regrow the jungle we grew up in. Also Moringa has been said to cure over 300 diseases

If you can’t support financially please help by sharing this effort so others will have the opportunity. Thanks
