While Panama City and the Panama Canal attract most travelers to the country of Panama, there is still so much to see and do throughout this stunning country.
Visiting the province of Los Santos is one destination travelers should add to their list.
The lively region in Panama’s Azuero Peninsula faces the Pacific Ocean and is known for its big celebrations, especially during Carnaval. People fill the streets in the capital Las Tablas with dancing, music and parades during this wonderful time of year.
Playa El Arenal and Playa Toro are great beaches worth exploring, as is the nearby town of Pedasi with its colonial buildings.
Tonosi is also a relaxing area for beach lovers in need of some fun in the sun in Los Santos.
Los Santos is a terrific place for those seeking big thrills. Hit the waves for some surfing in Venao and get your adventure travel on.
For those who love to interact with wildlife, Los Santos has multiple ways to create unforgettable moments with animals. Visit Isla Canas to watch sea turtles.
And located off the coast of Los Santos is Isla Iguana. The Wildlife Refuge is great for hiking, scuba diving, sport fishing, camping and more.
Los Santos is also an ideal place for whale watching from June to October. It’s an amazing spectacle, but then again, so is most of Panama. The country is filled with beautiful scenery.
So, what are you waiting for?
