COPA starts flights to Austin, Texas

Copa Airlines inaugurated its new route to and from Austin, USA, called the “World Capital of live music”, arriving in Texas to connect it with 32 countries of the American continent, through the Hub of the Americas, located at the Tocumen international airport in Panama City.

“We continue to expand our presence in the United States, with the inauguration of operations in the city of Austin we further strengthen the connectivity of the continent, through the Hub of the Americas, located in Panama City. In this way, we reaffirm our purpose of shortening distances, connecting families and strengthening commercial ties in the region,” said Pedro Heilbron, executive president of Copa Airlines.

The city of Austin becomes the 15th destination of Copa Airlines in the United States, joining the cities that already operates in this country: Tampa, Miami, Orlando, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, New York, Denver, Washington, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Fort Lauderdale and Baltimore.

Austin, Texas, is a cosmopolitan city that has stood out for being the second best summer travel destination (2019). It is recognized for its live music scene, in addition to its historical and natural attractions. Travelers can enjoy an exceptional culinary variety, with a wide selection of restaurants and unique attractions that make it an interesting destination to explore.

The Copa Airlines flight to Austin operates on four frequencies a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
