In the first half of 2025, Copa Airlines will inaugurate its new route to San Diego, California, marking the airline’s seventeenth destination in the United States. Copa needs to offer more competitive rates out of Canada to attract business either to Panama direct or as stop over destination. The airline is not well represented through travel sights like Expedia , flight center, etc. And Copa’s travel sight is not on par with other flight options. Nobody is going to pay more than $2000 return to PTY from Canada on economy when $1000 is readily possible.
