Each year Amigos de Animales hosts a huge sale of donated items and the volunteers that help with the event come out in force and work hard to insure that the event generates the most sales possible.  This year they brought in over $17,000, funds needed to insure that this organization meets budget this year.

Amigos de Animales holds spay and neuter clinics almost every month.  Last month they attended 181 animals and hosted 8 vets from Panama and Costa Rica.  More volunteers are always needed and welcome to assist.

The sale is a very labor intensive event as well and it could not be done with the support of volunteers and the donations made by members of the Boquete community.  This is just one more reason it is such a pleasure to live here and participate in community.
