My friends at Amigos de Animales sent me this note and the pictures from the Patio Sale where they raised over $17,000.

Amigos de Animales would like to thank the community of Boquete for its wonderful support of the Venta de Patio held on Sunday September 10. We surpassed last years earnings and brought in over $17,000! This is a wonderful result and it could not be done without the support of those of you who donated, those who volunteered, and those who shopped their way into making this our biggest and best event yet!

BEFORE Venta de Patio

This is a very labor intensive event that takes many months of preparation and many people working to ensure its success. But the financial reward is great and more than that, it is a meaningful event to do. This is just one more way that we at Animales can interact with the community.

DURING Venta  de Patio

This money will enable us to continue to support our mission to spay and neuter the animals of Boquete and the surrounding area. It will help us to cover our costs for medical supplies and help to make up the difference in the money spent per animal and what is taken in.  This will also enable us to continue with our community outreach programs like the education in the schools initiative and our vaccination clinics.
