The third Latin America Amateur Championship will be held at the Club de Golf de Panama in Central America in 2017, three of golf’s governing bodies announced Thursday.

The course has hosted a Web.com Tour event since 2004.

The winner of the LAAC earns an invitation to the Masters as well as exemptions into the final stages of qualifying for The Open and the U.S. Open. In addition, the champion qualifies for both the U.S. and British amateurs plus all other USGA amateur championships for which he is eligible.

The LAAC was founded by the Masters Tournament, the USGA and the R&A.

Chile’s Matias Dominguez won the inaugural event in 2015 at Pilar Golf outside Buenos Aires, Argentina. The second edition is currently being played in the Dominican Republic at the Teeth of the Dog course at Casa de Campo.
