The Board of Directors of the General Bank approved the appointment of Francisco Sierra Fábrega, as the new Executive Vice President and General Manager of Banco General, as of January 1, 2024, who is currently the Executive Vice President of Finance and Deputy General Manager.

This appointment is given after Juan Raúl Humbert Arias announced after 35 years of service where he served 6 years as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Banco General, the decision to withdraw from the General Management of Banco General and assume a new leadership role as President of the Board of Directors of Banco General, S.A.

Sierra Fábrega, has more than 35 years of experience in the economic and financial events of the bank and the country, as well as being a promoter of the culture and values of Banco General.

The appointment of Francisco Sierra guarantees in the bank the continuity in the policies and plans already drawn up. On the other hand, Raúl Alemán Zubieta will continue in his position as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grupo Financiero Banco General, S.A.
