The Estrella de Panamá and the Chamber of Commerce, Agriculture and Industry of Colón signed a collaboration agreement this Friday, September 15, for the dissemination of the campaign “Change begins with me”, which begins this Tuesday, September 19 and ends in February 2024.
The general manager of the Editorial Group El Siglo & La Estrella (GESE), Santiago Porcell, and Michael Chen, president of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce, Agriculture and Industry of Colón for the period 2022-2024 participated in the signing.
With the dissemination of the campaign, the image of the colonenses and the Panamanians in general towards the province of Colón will be strengthened, while calling for reflection and identification of the values of citizenship.
The campaign aims to raise awareness about the importance of the active participation of society in sustainable development (education, values, correct disposal of garbage, etc.) and highlight the achievements and challenges of the province.
After winning the presidency in 2022 Chen (Vanidades Group) has outlined the purpose of improving the image of Columbus, promoting the positive and generating a multiplier effect on various platforms.
In addition, to promoting the province, the campaign also seeks for society in general to learn and improve different fundamental aspects for its growth.
Among the topics that will be addressed in the campaign are: the awareness of the correct disposal of solid waste, education, values and how to choose good rulers, among many other issues.
