BAC Credomatic celebrates the launch of its Neto Positivo strategy

Under the premise of creating triple positive value for all its audiences, BAC Credomatic Panama carried out in the company of commercial allies, media, representatives of business unions and public figures, the formal launch of its new strategic objective, within the framework of the forum: ‘The impact of the new energy route in Panama’.

The event took place at the Museum of the Interoceanic Canal of Panama, and developed through a discussion panel key issues such as the preparation of the business sector for its own green path, the projections of Panama towards renewable energies and the contribution that all companies can make for the sustainable transformation of the country.

Regarding the contributions of La Casa de las Baterías in that energy transformation, he assured that they have “advanced with the implementation of solar panels and renewable energy, which are moving towards electric mobility. In fact, La Casa de las Baterías has the Luz Verde project, with which it has built the first network of chargers for electric vehicles nationwide,” Díaz said.

He also stressed that with this project users have access to charging their vehicles with 100% clean and emission-free energy at 18 charging points throughout the national territory. These points are located in the branches of the Casa de las Baterías in via España, Betania, Vista Alegre and Coronado. And inside, in Río Hato, Penonomé, Chitré, Santiago and David.

More than 1,000 solar panels have been installed in the branches of La Casa de las Baterías that supply 100% of the energy of each of these. In this way, operations are completely self-sustaining, reducing the emission of carbon dioxide (CO2) into the atmosphere by 155 tons per year. The solutions offered by La Casa de las Baterías not only bet on the sustainability of its customers; but also on that of the country, promoting the use of renewable energies in order to build sustainable societies in a healthy environment,” he emphasized.
