TY Lin International Panama won the contract to provide technical assistance to the project management of the fourth bridge over the Panama Canal, in the amount of $17.8 million.

The Ministry of Public Works in Panama awarded the contract to $17,797,040 for the procurement of consulting services for strategic planning to provide technical assistance to the project management of the fourth bridge over the Panama Canal .

A statement issued by the Ministry of Public Works says that “… The company TY LIN International will be responsible for performing the services of skilled and specialized technical assistance, to ensure proper implementation of the objectives of this work; in terms of design, construction and commissioning of the new infrastructure in harmony and optimal function together with the rest of Panama’s public transport system, particularly with the future Metro Line 3 of Panama. ”

With a deadline of 1,825 calendar days, the work will be carried out by TY Lin International Panama, winner of the public tender, in which the company Ingeniería y Economía del Transporte S.A. also participated with a bid of $17.798.541.72. For this project, the MOP had set a reference rate of $22,245,396.47.
