Panama will soon have a world class convention center to add to the incredible amount of classy projects already here in the City.
The consortium Ayesa Panama has won the contract to project manage the construction of the new convention center in Amador. The Tourism Authority of Panama (ATP) has awarded a $4.5 million contract for services administration, inspection, supervision and quality control for the design, construction and equipment of the new center for conventions, exhibitions and events in Amador, reported Prensa.com.
With a lead time comprising 24 months, the work will be carried out by the consortium Ayesa Panama, composed of the companies Ayesa Ingeniería and Arquitectura, S.A. The consortium won tender number 2016-1-45-0-08-AV- 008,876 in which Cemosa, Consorcio Amador, and Consorcio Proyecto SEG also participated. The reference price was $6 million.
