Autos and Energy Lead the growth index for Latin America

All signs point to continued growth in Latin America and we read that Autos and Energy are at the top of multinational indexes.

Volkswagen and Ford – saw strong growth this quarter, with sales up 17.1 percent to $6 billion and 28.2 percent to $3 billion respectively. This makes them the third and seventh largest multinationals in Latin America.

Energy companies also did well this quarter. Spain’s Endesa saw the largest revenues this quarter, with $3.5 billion in sales. But Spain’s Gas Natural Fenosa saw the largest revenue increase, with sales up 15 percent to $2.2 billion. France’s Groupe Casino tops the index for another quarter, with year over year growth of 107.6 percent to $7.9 billion, making them the second highest-earning company  after Spain’s Telefonica.
