This route will have a frequency of a daily flight from Monday to Thursday leaving Panama City at 8:00 a.m. and from Chitré at 8:45 a.m., on Fridays and Sundays the flights will depart at 4:00 p.m. from Panama City and from Chitré at 4:45 p.m.
Now residents of the provinces of Veraguas, Coclé, Los Santos, Herrera, will be able to travel from Chitré Alonso Valderrama Airport to Marcos A airport. Gelabert from Panama City in just 30 minutes.
The general administrator of the Tourism Authority of Panama (ATP), Iván Eskildsen, stressed that with the resumption of daily flights from Air Panama to Chitré, the country continues to increase its air connectivity and is positioned as a preferred destination.
He added that the increase in the frequency of this flight and the greater capacity of the planes is essential to realize the high potential for tourism development of the region, which strengthens the economic recovery strategy.
On the other hand, the director of air transport of Civil Aeronautics, Carlos Von Seitliz, said one of the most important objectives for the Civil Aeronautics Authority, is to maintain growth and improve airport connectivity, in order to generate new business, industry and tourism links, through safe and quality services.
