The AES Panama Foundation emerges as a centralizing entity and executing arm of AES companies in the country and will contribute to strengthening the company’s presence at the national level.
With the presentation of a discussion on the role played by non-profit organizations and private enterprise in the development of Panama, AES Panama carried out the formal launch of its foundation, an entity that will be in charge of all issues related to the sustainability and corporate social responsibility of the AES group of companies in Panama.
For more than 20 years, AES has worked hard not only to keep the lights on throughout the country, guaranteeing sustainable energy security and accelerating the future of energy in Panama; but also to support the communities surrounding its plants in Panama, Colón, Coclé, Chiriquí, Bocas del Toro, Herrera and Los Santos.
