Thanks and a hat tip to Eric Jackson at the Panama News for reporting on the progress of the new International Airport at Rio Hato. This is another big step by Panama to boost tourism as this new facility will provide quick access to the area resorts. I would expect to see a number of jets there at any one time delivering weekly charters to all-inclusive resorts like those in Punta Cana.
