JW Marriott Panama Golf & Beach Resort

This resort is one of may favorite places on the gold coast and is now being operated by one of the best, JW Marriott.

JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts has taken over the management of the Bristol Buenaventura resort in Panama, under an agreement with the Bristol Hospitality Group.

The property, which is now called the JW Marriott Panama Golf & Beach Resort, is  located in the Buenaventura beachfront community near the town of Rio Hato and will be the brand’s first resort in Panama.

Marriott International chief development officer in the Caribbean and Latin America Laurent de Kousemaeker said, “The pacific coast of Panama has all of the ingredients to become a world class resort destination and we are excited to be at the forefront of that effort with our flagship brand.”

The 118-room resort, which includes five suites and four villas, is spread over 1,000 acres and has a newly opened 18-hole golf course.

The resort features five restaurants, a fitness centre, spa, kids club and a beach club in addition to 517m² of meeting space.
