Mel Gibson Sells Property in Costa Rica

News from Panama / Wednesday, March 28th, 2012

The 200 hectare residential complex on the Pacific coast, which is valued at about $30 million, includes three mountain top houses each with several bedrooms.

Mel Gibson‘s real estate portfolio is almost as extensive as his acting resume.

Now, the actor is selling his Costa Rica home, Playa Barrigona. He’s asking $29.8 million for the beachfront estate, which sits amid 500 acres of private jungle, according to The Wall Street Journal.

There are three homes on the property, all of which are on a hilltop that overlooks the Pacific Ocean.

The house was originally listed in 2010 for $35 million; it was later taken off the market before being relisted.

Selling the Costa Rican property is part of his plans to reduce his property portfolio following his divorce from Robyn Gibson in 2009.

The Gibson complex features 3 houses on top of high hills, each with several bedrooms and beautiful views of the sea and the surrounding forest. Each house is equipped with local wood, Spanish and Italian tiles, terraces and a pool.
