The strong commitment to transparency, their human sensitivity and the search for innovative solutions, characterize the career of more than 25 years of the general director of the Social Security Fund, Dino Mon Vásquez, who arrives at the institution with the mission of promoting a new era of efficiency and quality of service for the insured.
Dino Mon Vásquez was born in Panama, on October 26, 1970, to a father of Chinese descent and his mother of Honduran origin, which gives him human tools to understand the need of a population, sometimes without a voice, that claims to be heard and social justice; the highest priority in his management against the CSS.
Training and obtaining results
He has a solid academic training, which includes teaching at the Institute of Technology and Higher Studies in Monterrey, as director of the Industrial Engineering career and the University of Anáhuac Mexico as a teacher of the Actuary career. Since then, he has held positions in the Panamanian public sector in the former National Banking and Insurance and Reinsurance Commission of Panama.
He has also held positions in the insurance market, including his role as general manager of the World Group, and in his transition to becoming president of Mapfre Panama. Before assuming as CEO of the Social Security Fund, Mon Vásquez served as president of the USAAAR Express group, dedicated to the development of digital platforms and the provision of logistics services in the Republic of Panama
