Cryptocurrency application gains ground in Panama

Panama has been placed in the top 36 of countries in the world and in the top 17 of Latin American countries with the highest adoption of crypto, registering a constant growth in the use, investment and transactions in cryptocurrencies, according to a report by the blockchain data platform, Chainalysis.

In this sense, the Lulubit application, since its launch in Panama, registers growth and penetration in the Panamanian market, and in fact, in the last two months alone it quadrupled the database of its users and in the month of August, it registered more than 2,000 transactions.

Alan Futerman, CFO of Lulubit, indicated that this application offers Panamanians a new way to interact in the world of cryptocurrencies and traditional finance, in addition with the APP users can receive funds from any bank, wallet or exchange through blockchain, which they can then sell for dollars and withdraw to their banks, since they are secure transactions and we offer real-time deposits with ACH Xpress.

The application keeps available online a course consisting of four educational modules, completed by more than a thousand users, thus promoting financial and technological education so that citizens better understand the risks and benefits associated with cryptocurrencies and make informed decisions.

This year they will also begin issuing cards so that users can use their wallet funds for purchases in stores and online. It will not be a prepaid card but a truly crypto card.

Apart from the growth in Panama, the application advances in its expansion in the Central American region, soon they will be launching the crypto wallet in Guatemala, so that users can buy, sell, send and receive cryptocurrencies instantly, being a bridge between traditional finance and the crypto world.
