For the second consecutive year, Panama City won the award as “Best Leisure Destination in Latin America and South America,” at the Leisure Lifestyle Awards organized by the North American publisher Global Traveler.

This award annually highlights the performance of tourist destinations and brands in the leisure, luxury and lifestyle travel segments; rewarding goods, services, destinations, hotels, airlines and cruises.

To establish the winners, the publisher conducted a survey of its readers with open questions to recognize the best in the various categories, this survey was published in the magazine and was inserted in the copies of the subscribers, as a questionnaire by direct mail and by email during the survey period.
