Panama and Turkey sign a tourism collaboration agreement

Panama and Turkey signed a collaboration agreement that seeks to encourage the exchange of visitors between the two countries.

The formalization of the agreement took place between the National Chamber of Tourism of Panama and Türsab, the Association of Travel Agencies of Turkey.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Turkey is a highly developed country in tourism and Türsab is constantly innovating new and attractive projects.

“Your partnership with Camtur will result in energizing and improving the services provided in that field in both countries,” says MIRE.

Türsab, established in 1972, is the largest association of professionals in the tourism industry in Turkey, with a presence in 36 regions, with the vision of optimizing the country’s tourism profession, which contributes 25% of GDP to the Turkish state.

It has more than 14,000 associates and is permanently willing to offer its members training, opportunities and benefits, especially in the digital age.

The association is aligned within the framework of the country’s goals in industry, those of Sustainable Development of the United Nations, as well as in the Code of Global Ethics for Tourism, indicated by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

For its part, Camtur is made up of companies and private tourism service providers, legally constituted with the purpose of guiding and coordinating efforts aimed at the development and promotion of all aspects concerning tourism as an economic and cultural activity.

Among its purposes is also to carry out programs to promote or promote tourism, among other activities.

One of the Turkish cities that Panamanians visit the most is Istanbul. The culture of that country has become popular in recent years after the transmission of various entertainment programs.
