Plenary of the Supreme Court declared vacant the positions of judges of guarantees, trial and compliance

The plenary session of the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ), in ordinary session, approved by means of Agreement N ° 14 dated January 6, 2022, “which declares vacant positions of Judges of Guarantees, Judges of Oral Trial and of Judges of Compliance with the Judicial Offices of the Accusatory Penal System, at the national level ”.

The measure adopted by the plenary session of the CSJ, is in order to proceed to fill said positions through the procedures established by Law No. 53 of August 27, 2015, which regulates the Judicial Career, reported the Judicial Branch in a press release.

The people who are temporarily occupying the positions and positions of Judges of Guarantees, Judges of Oral Trial and Judges of Compliance, will continue to comply with the inherent responsibilities and obligations, while the process of the Judicial Career that begins with the declaration of vacancies, complying with the provisions of Law No. 53 of August 27, 2015.

With this decision, the Plenary of the Supreme Court of Justice demonstrates the will to specify the effective implementation of the Judicial Career Law.
