So I must first apologize for the missing edition of The Panama Perspective last week.  The problem stemmed from my provider not showing up and fixing a problem for 5 days. I cancelled the fiber provider and went back to my old Cable provider and I am sitting happy after service installed the day after I placed my order.

What I found out was that fiber is delicate and if there is a problem in the line they must replace a lot of fiber cable to resolve the problem which is why it took so long and 4 trucks for service.  The main problem was a total lack of service and a lot of denial and finger pointing.

So anyway, I am back and very satisfied with Cable Onda’s service.  400 MBPS, 270 TV channels and phone service for $55 per month.  Be careful what you choose for a service provider in  Panama due to an overall lack of service in most industries including internet.
