New embassy headquarters inaugurated in Panama

The new embassy headquarters on Saturday inaugurated in the sisterly country of Panama, on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of proclamation of the Saharawi Republic.

The event took place in the presence of a number of officials of the ministry of foreign affairs of Panama.

In a meeting on the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony, the Panamanian officials delivered to Saharawi Ambassador Sidahmed Darbal a letter from their country’s foreign ministry to the President of the Republic Mr. Brahim Gali on the occasion of SADR proclamation.

The meeting was an opportunity for the Saharawi diplomat to brief his interlocutors on the latest developments in Western Sahara, especially after the resumption of armed struggle following Morocco’s violation of the ceasefire on 13 November 2020. (SPS)
