So after coming to Panama in 2006, I decided to retire from over 30 years in commercial real estate in Miami, Florida.  While I had completed over $1 B in transactions, I saw a bubble building rapidly and decided after 3 recessions, I might skip the one coming. So we moved here permanently the following year.

After a couple years exploring Panama, I knew I had made the right decision and grew to love this country, the one of my birth.  That said, the real estate itch started building and I formed a real estate company, Panama Advisory International Group and started writing The Panama Perspective.  My hobby paper got serious and the readership grew so I decided to monetize it by listing and advertising properties to my readers.
