In the third debate, the National Assembly approved the bill that considers the suspension of charges for electricity, fixed and mobile telephony and Internet services for four months.
This benefit will be available to self-employed workers, micro and small businesses, which have been affected in their income, as well as owners of restaurants, bars, casinos, public and private transport, affected by the pandemic, reported the Assembly.

The statement says that “… As it is a law of a social nature, the temporary suspension of payment for these services is retroactive to March 1, but it establishes that the service that is not paid in this period will be paid when the grace period expires on a pro-rata basis during the next three years.”
The document adds that “… The rule also states that when a natural or legal person engaged in a commercial act has been ordered to close temporarily and chooses to temporarily suspend the effects of the contract for a maximum of 90 days, the State will assume the payment of a joint and several bonuses to each worker.”
