Panama’s State Radio and Television System is tendering the service of two thousand hours of satellite time space for live transmissions.

“In order to cover in an efficient and dynamic way all the news coverage of the country, as well as important events of the State; the State Radio and Television System, uses a new satellite transmission system “Fly – Away” which guarantees us a good performance in live and direct transmission, from any point of the country.
The Contractor must comply with the following technical specifications:
1. Bandwidth: minimum 4.5 MHz and availability up to 6 MHz
2. Reception and transmission: C-band
3. Availability of space: in the required time
4. Transmission form: linear
5. Availability of coverage: in North America, Central America, South America and the Caribbean, for simultaneous use on the same Transponder (TP).
6. Availability of coverage in Europe, Asia and Africa if required by SERW with prior notice.
7. It must have a permanent segment and a fixed frequency for the transmissions of the Institution.”
