Luxury Cars: Sales Grow at 8%

During the first 11 months of 2019, 2,421 luxury vehicles were sold in Panama, a figure 8% higher than that reported for the same period in 2018.

According to the most recent report from the General Comptroller of the Republic, between January and November 2018 and the same period in 2019, in general the number of units registered in the country fell slightly, from 45,896 to 44,101.

From January to November 2019, sales of regular cars reported a decline over the same period in 2018, falling from 15,970 to 15,323 units, and sales of Pick Ups recorded a decrease of 9%, falling from 7,023 to 6,405 units.

Trucks also recorded a decrease for the months in question, falling from 1,411 to 1,219 units, a 14% decrease. In the case of luxury cars, vehicles sold dropped from 2,242 to 2,421.
