Well, it is finally here!  I find myself feeling jubilant, happy, but also anxious about the new year, what will it bring?

Having just turned 66, I have started the year/decade with a new milestone. I am another year older and I like to think, another year wiser.  Panama has been good to Susie and me and  we are fortunate not to have to witness firsthand the political hate storm, daily mass shooters, homeless campgrounds and the new Snowflake generation back in the US.

Maybe some quantum shift in the universe will set things straight right? Wrong, it is here to stay and we have no intentions on ever leaving Panama. Panamanians have a strong sense for the importance of the family unit, morality, ethics and society.  It is especially evident here in Boquete where we live in a small village located in a green mountain valley with eternal spring like weather.  Having been around the world several times and lived in many different countries, I can tell you that Panama and Boquete in particular, is a very special place.
