The XIII China-LAC Business Summit in Panama City focused on the expansion of joint trading activities and business investment between China and Latin America.

During the three-day summit, nearly two thousand entrepreneurs, officials and politicians from Latin America, the Caribbean and China met in Panama.

In addition, more than 1,000 companies took part in the summit’s exhibition, including 600 companies from Latin America and the Caribbean and around 400 Chinese companies.

Speaking at the opening, the President of the Organizing Committee, Gabriel Barletta, stressed the role played by the Summit over the past 13 years. Regarding this year’s host country, he added that Panama had been chosen for its political and economic stability.
