Speaking to Prensa Latina, Dinza stressed that he will share the stage with Puerto Rican singer Ismael Miranda (a former member of the Fania All Stars) and his countryman, timbalero Manolito Rodriguez in a group formed for that occasion under the name of BorinCuba.
He also announced a tour to Argentina with all his orchestra, from December 16 to 21, with performances at the Copalegre nightclub in Buenos Aires, and in the city of Rosario.
A few days ago, Dinza made available to the dancers – in this capital – his third album ‘Pa que bailen to'(for dancing everything), released by the Abdala Productions Unicorn label and proposed for the Latin Grammy Award.
That phonogram, which obtained special recognition at the 2019 Cubadisco Award, including 12 tracks, nine of them signed by the leader of Soneros de la Juventud. Among the tracks’ titles that stand out are: ‘Baila bien’ (dance well), ‘Asi es mi son’ (That’s my son like), ‘Rumba como quiera’ (rumba on your own way) by Rolando Vergara and a unique version of ‘La vida en rosa’.
Others as ‘Quisiera’ (I wish) and ‘Tuve que olvidarla’ (I had to move on) make up radio hits in Panama and Argentina.
From a vocal perspective I intend to defend son, guaracha, bolero and other Cuban genres with youthful sounds, he highlighted.
Maikel Dinza and Soneros de la Juventud are also preparing for an extensive European tour, from January 15 to February 15 next year, which will take them to Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal and France.
In just four years of existence, the orchestra cultivates the son montuno with songs raised at the poetic level. His perspective is to take the dancer of the son as a Cuban folkloric scheme, according to the leader of that group.
