The Consortium Line 2 Branch, made up of the companies Norberto Odebrecht and FCC, obtained the highest score in the tender to design and build the branch that will connect the future Instituto Técnico Superior del Este with Tocumen International Airport.

From the statement of Metro de Panamá, S.A.:

November 1st, 2018. The Panama Metro, S.A. (MPSA) carried out the opening ceremony of the technical and economic proposals of the three tenderers that participated in the Tender for Best Value with Separate Evaluation for the execution of the Line 2 Branch Project, which connects the Instituto Tecnico Superior del Este (ITSE) and the Tocumen International Airport (AIT).

The Consortium Line 2, integrated by the companies Norberto Odebrecht and FCC, S.A., obtained the highest score of 908, with 431 points in the technical proposal and 477 points in the economic proposal.

This group of companies, once the contract is awarded, will have a period of 28 months for the execution of the Line 2 Branch to the ITSE/AIT.
