The World-Famous Canal
Third, The Panama Canal. If you haven’t noticed yet, Panama is home to one of the seven wonders of the modern world. When you visit the Panama Canal you can learn all about the history of Panama’s past and relationship with the United States all in the museum located there. You can also witness huge cargo ships making their way through the Canal’s locks. It is truly amazing to watch.
The Nightlife
If you like to party, then Panama is the place for you. Casco Viejo is a historic district found in Panama City that was built in 1673 after the total destruction of the original Panama City in 1671 by pirates (yeah, Pirate Henry Morgan attacked Panama). Since then, the city has now evolved and grown so much, Casco Viejo is now preserved because it holds the first institutions and buildings of a modern Panama. But now, some of the other buildings have been remodeled and turned into the hottest clubs of Panama. Besides being the best place to tour during the day, at night it unveils the best nightlife you can find in Panama. From the best bars to the fanciest clubs, they are all back to back and are within walking distance from each other. So, know you can plan the perfect bar hopping experience inside one of the most historical places in Panama.

Last but not least, one of the main reasons you must visit Panama is because it is also home to one of the Florida State campuses. If you have been considering going abroad, then you might just have found your temporary home for a semester. The Panama campus is located in Ciudad del Saber which is just right beside the Panama Canal. Imagine studying alongside a world wonder. Studying in Panama is really an outside of this world experience. You get to immerse yourself in one of the most unique cultures there are while getting to know an amazing country.
