$68 million Re-tender of Driver’s Licenses

News from Panama / Tuesday, March 6th, 2018

The Panama Transit and Land Transportation Authority is once again putting out to tender services to issue driver’s licenses, for a term of 10 years.

Due to non compliance with the requirements established in the contest by the three companies that submitted bids, last January the hiring process to provide a service to issue driver’s licenses and vehicle ownership cards, as well as the issuance of weights and dimensions cards, was declared void.

The second call for services related to the issue of driver’s licenses (LC) throughout the Republic, including customer service, administration, operation and maintenance of the entire service, has the date for receipt of offers of March 7, 2018, and its reference price is $62.3 million.

See Tender.
