Tender: School Infrastructure for $60 million

The Ministry of Education in Panama is putting out to tender the study, design, construction, infrastructure replacement and other renovations and expansions in schools in the Ngobe Bugle area.  This is huge step forward in improving education which will eventually translate into economic advancement for some of the poorer areas of Panama.  Rich in tradition but often overlooked by the government in the past.

Ngäbe-Buglé is the largest and most populous of Panama‘s three comarcas indígenas. It was created in 1997 from lands formerly belonging to the provinces of Bocas del Toro, Chiriquí, and Veraguas. The capital is known as Buäbti in Ngäbere and Llano Tugrí in Spanish.

Panama Government Purchase 2016-0-07-0-12-LV-025 098:

“Studies, design, construction, ranch-style infrastructure replacement and other renovations and expansions in schools nationwide. Phase 2: Besiko District. The Phase 2-Besiko District project includes 29 schools located in the Ngobe Bugle area.

The Contractor must visit the project to assess and comply with the environmental conditions, verify the dimensions of the field and everything related to the project. They will be responsible for requesting clarification of the details that they consider appropriate before submitting a proposal.

The list of activities to be performed included in the tender conditions are contained in the program design scope and serve as a reference to the contractor in the development of their proposed design. ”

The Contractor must visit the project to assess and comply with the environmental conditions, verify the dimensions of the field and everything related to the project. They will be responsible for requesting clarification of the details that they consider appropriate before submitting a proposal.

The list of activities to be performed included in the tender conditions are contained in program design scope and serve as a reference to the contractor in the development of their proposed design. ”
