In the first two days of the real estate and construction fair deals worth $70 million were struck, mainly related to the sale of residences.
Authorities at the Panamanian Chamber of Construction expect the figure at the close of the event to be close to $150 million.
Alejandro Ferrer, president of the trade committee of the Panamanian Chamber of Construction (Capac) stated that “… Among the reasons why buyers chose to purchase their home through this exhibition is the fact that it was attended by 15 banks who offered interesting mortgage rates. ”
Panamaamerica.com.pa states that “… Ferrer said that more than 500 projects were also presented, meaning that buyers could choose from a wide range of options. “
