One of my favorite places to shop in Panama City is the Multiplaza Mall.  It has steadily seen an increase in luxury goods and no shortage of buyers for the best of the best.    This event will once again spotlight Panama as a fashion capital of the Americas. U.S. actress Eva Longoria will be the star of the red carpet event “Vogue en Vivo Multiplaza” to be held in the Panamanian capital for the second straight year, the organizers said.

According to a communique from the international firm, the occasion in Panama has become “the most important fashion event in Latin America.”

Longoria will be the special guest at this entertaining fashion festival, where she and the team from Vogue headed by Editor-in-chief Kelly Talamas, along with the managing director of Grupo Roble, Alberto Poma, will enjoy an evening among Panama’s top celebrities and luxury brands.

The new “Luxure Avenue” of the world-class Multiplaza shopping mall will be at the heart of the festivities during this formal by-invitation-only event, the note said.

Between Aug. 29-31 there will be exclusive presentations of all the participating brands that come together at Multiplaza.

“The goal of the project is to bring consumers closer to brands for the sole purpose of celebrating fashion, but above all, to remind everyone how much fun it is to go shopping,” the communique said.

On hand for the event besides Longoria, Talamas and Poma will be Eva Hughes, CEO of Conde Nast Mexico and Latin America.
