$80 million in Hotel Investment in Las Perlas

Ground has been broken and Ritz Carlton will add another great Reserve hotel in the Las Perlas Islands of Panama.  I have been to the island and it is magical.

It will have 86 rooms in 28 villas and private residences, and will be ready in 2019. With more than 80 million dollar investment, work started on Thursday to build a hotel by the Ritz-Carlton chain in the Las Perlas Archipelago.

The President of the Republic, Juan Carlos Varela, who took part in the event, stressed “the commitment of the Government of the Republic to continue working to improve the training of workers in the tourism sector in order to improve the quality of services we offer, so that the Panamanian tourism sector can offer a respectful, friendly and polite image which invites people back”.

This project, during its construction, will create more than 300 direct jobs on the island of Pedro González and will be ready in 2019. In addition, when operations start, it will generate 275 jobs for local people.

The Ritz-Carlton hotel will have 86 rooms in 28 villas and private residences. In addition, the project seeks to promote family life and tourism in the area.
