Representing the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Javier Martínez-Acha Vásquez, the general secretary of the ministry Veruschka R. Ramos G. attended the session of the Municipal Council, in commemoration of the 505th anniversary of the La Vieja Foundation of Panama, chaired by Mayer Mizrachi Matalón, mayor of Panama City.

The ceremony took place in the facilities of the Convent of the nuns of the Concepción Monumental Complex of Panama La Vieja.

On this occasion, the historical and cultural legacy of Panama was honored and at the same time the Olympic medalist Atheyna Bylon was recognized, who was given the Official Scroll of the Municipality and the Key to the very noble and loyal City.
